The hosts were very responsive and super friendly. There was a moment where the thermostat temperature spiked because people were going in and out of the back door and the host checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. Great stay!"

"I had the pleasure of staying at Twin Lakes Chalet for the second time and once again it didn’t disappoint! The home was immaculately clean and I love the luxurious bamboo sheets and quilt in the king bedroom suite. I slept like a baby. Then I woke up to a beautiful view of the lake outside my window. Since I was last here the hosts have added a waffle bar in the kitchen which was a really great touch! I had everything I needed to make a nice waffle breakfast complete with local Maine maple syrup. I enjoyed use of the hot tub again this stay and this time I even tried out the arcade games in the game room. Even as an adult it was so much fun. The hosts Fred & Lisa were very accommodating and responsive. I will definitely be staying here again!"

"We recently stayed here with two families (8 children total). This house was perfect! Plenty of room for the kids in the lower level and private (quiet) bedrooms for the adults upstairs. The house was well appointed, clean and comfortable. Our hosts were great (super responsive and helpful) and the hot tub was a huge hit. This house has such a great location and we enjoyed a few day trips during our stay. It was a little over an hour to North Conway (great shopping downtown and then stopped by Jackson Falls for a swim). We also drove to the summit of Mt Washington. More locally (within 30 minutes), we enjoyed some local hikes (Buck's Ledge community forest was perfect for younger hikers), spent a day kayaking with Bethel Outdoor Adventure company and stopped by the Sugar Shack for lobster rolls and ice cream (more than once). If you’re looking for a great family vacation spot, look no further!"

"We all had a wonderful time. The chalet was perfect for our whole family. Fred & Lisa thought of everything. A delightful welcome note and bottle of complimentary wine. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the Arcade room and all the games. The jacuzzi was a big hit as we all got to relax in it. The accommodations were all on point with two bedrooms upstairs, living room/cocktail bar, full kitchen & dining room on the first floor. The downstairs had another two bedrooms and a separate living room. The deck has a cookout grill. We did steak & chicken Kabobs. It rained off & on throughout the weekend, but we never felt confined in the chalet due to its great layout and expansive square footage. We had a terrific time!"
